Meet Mica

Mica Scalin helps purpose-driven professionals evolve their leadership and transform their careers. 

She brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of the arts, innovation, and leadership, with an interdisciplinary background as an entrepreneur, media executive, and educator.

In her role as Managing Partner at Another Limited Rebellion, Mica has delivered customized executive education and leadership development programs to more than 200 organizations worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and government agencies. She is also the co-author of Creative Sprint: Six 30-Day Challenges to Jumpstart Your Creativity.

A pioneer in new media, Mica produced one of the first video podcasts and later helped launch NBCUniversal Digital Studios. At Showtime Networks, she initiated social media marketing efforts, and as VP of Communications at JDub, a nonprofit media company, she led integrated communications strategy.

Mica has taught leadership and management in the Entrepreneurship in the Arts MA program at SUNY Purchase and currently coaches emerging STEM leaders in the Rutgers University Master of Business and Science (MBS) program. She has been a guest lecturer and invited speaker at institutions including Arizona State University, UC Davis, Villanova, and Harvard Medical School.

She holds a BFA in Photography from the Corcoran School of Art and an MA in Media Studies and Performance from CUNY Queens College. She is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses accelerator.

She is certified in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance by Rutgers University and ACC accredited by International Coaching Federation.
